CONTEST: Leanna Renee Hieber ~ The Interview

Michelle Pillow InterviewLeanna Renee Hieber
A rural Ohio native, Leanna can’t remember a time when she wasn’t writing, dreaming up new worlds, telling ghost stories or some dramatic combination of them all. Leanna graduated with a BFA in Theatre and a minor in the Victorian Era from Miami University. The dramatic, historic, spiritual and paranormal are the primary forces in her lyrical, eerie, atmospheric fiction. While performing in the regional theatre circuit, Leanna became a published and award-winning playwright. Her one-acts, such as Favorite Lady continue to be produced in colleges and festivals around the country. She has been an occasional contributor to Dramatics Magazine. A member of Actors Equity Association (AEA), the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA) and the Screen Actors Guild (SAG), she periodically works on stage or in television and sings soprano in her church choir. Leanna is represented by New York literary agent Nicholas Roman Lewis. She loves her adopted hometown of New York City, where she resides with her real-life hero and her beloved pet rabbit Persebunny, Queen of the Undereverything.

The Strangely Beautiful Tale of Miss Percy Parker
What fortune awaited sweet, timid Percy Parker at Athens Academy? Considering how few of Queen Victoria’s Londoners knew of it, the great Romanesque fortress was dreadfully imposing, and little could Percy guess what lay inside. She had never met the powerful and mysterious Professor Alexi Rychman, knew nothing of the growing shadow, the Ripper and other supernatural terrors against which his coterie stood guard. She knew simply that she was different, haunted, with her snow-white hair, pearlescent skin and uncanny gifts. But this arched stone doorway offered a portal to a new life, an education far from the convent—and an invitation to an intimate yet dangerous dance at the threshold of life and death….

“Tender. Poignant. Exquisitely written. A gem of a book.” – New York Times Bestselling Author C.L. Wilson

Thank you for joining us!!!

It sounds like such a beautiful book. And how cool is that title? I wish there were more evocative titles to capture the reader’s imagination like this.
