Q & A with the Author
What’s a misconception about midlife that you’d like to clear up?
It’s not the beginning of the end, it’s simply a new beginning.
What was your favorite part of writing Paranormal Women’s Fiction?
Showcasing someone who is my age and getting to deal with issue that I deal with on a day to day basis.
Tell us a bit about your story.
It’s a story about redemption and a second chance at love.
Tell us about one of your upcoming titles.
Starry with a Chance of Nightshade, Grimm Cove book 5. Those of you who have read the series know this is Stratton’s story. You’ll learn so much more about his mysterious past.
Why was this story important for you to tell?
I’ve fallen in love with writing in the genre and can’t wait to write more stories about women my age.
Do you have a writing routine?
I do. I try to write at least 2k words a day. When I’m not writing, I’m working on administrative tasks, marketing or book research.
If you could live the life of one single character in your story, who would it be and why?
Emmaline. Absolutely. I’d love to be able to turn into any person I wanted to. Be completely anonymous.
Do you have a personal connection with any of the characters in your story? Does one resonate with you more than the others?
I think it would be Gwen from Daughter of Darkness. Mostly because she was with four hot guys. LOL. Yes. I said it.
What is something you hope the readers take away from your story?
That there is always more than one side to a story.
How long have you been writing?
I’ve been writing and published for nearly twenty years now.
What words of advice would you give to new writers who are just starting in the genre of Paranormal Women’s Fiction?
Put the time in to learn and study the genre. Understand the key elements of the genre. And then have fun!
